We empower girls to promote gender equality and workplace inclusion.
In 2023, Our founder said women in Africa deserve to dream big and pursue their passions. Our mission is to empower young girls, equipping them with the tools to make informed career choices and pursue their dreams confidently. Our program helps break free from community gender biases that could otherwise limit their aspirations.
Why SheCanDo Exist
Shecando exists to empower women by breaking gender stereotypes and promoting gender equality in the workplace. We are building platforms where Girls can discover their unique capabilities, pursue their aspirations confidently, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Through various programs, Shecando seeks to bridge gender gaps, provide mentorship and skills training, and build a supportive community that encourages women to thrive in diverse fields and leadership roles. Ultimately, Shecando envisions a world where every woman can realize her full potential and become a positive force for change.

Shecando aims to eliminate traditional and restrictive beliefs about the roles and capabilities of women, fostering an environment where individuals are judged based on their skills and abilities rather than gender.

We strive to address and reduce disparities in wages between men and women, advocating for equal compensation for equal work and promoting fair employment practices.
Career Aspiration Limitations
Shecando works to eradicate barriers that limit women's career aspirations, encouraging them to pursue diverse fields, leadership roles, and entrepreneurial endeavors without societal or cultural constraints.
Underrepresentation in Leadership
We seek to eliminate the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions across various sectors, promoting equal opportunities for leadership roles and decision-making positions

Shecando is committed to ending gender-based violence, advocating for safe spaces and raising awareness to eliminate all forms of violence against women.
